Don’t you love a warm chocolate chip cookie right out of the oven with a glass of milk? Who doesn’t? About 4 years ago, I went gluten free due to a thyroid condition. Thankfully, the thyroid condition is on it’s way to getting better but I am still eating gluten free. When I first cut out gluten it was very overwhelming for me. I missed being able to eat yummy breads, pastas, and desserts (including chocolate chip cookies!). As I searched the internet and magazines for recipes, I learned how to eat gluten free. I was also able to learn that it really is quite easy to convert a regular recipe to a gluten free recipe. Today I want to share my favorite Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe!
To start making your delicious gluten free chocolate chip cookies, combine your gluten free flour blend, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Below is the gluten free flour blend I use. The brand is Namaste Foods. I use this flour anytime I am making a gluten free recipe that requires flour. We purchase it at Costco.
In a separate bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy.
Add your eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Gradually beat in your flour mixture.
Now it’s time to add the delicious chocolate chips!
Does anyone else like eating cookie dough as much as I do?
Drop your cookies on a cookie sheet and bake them at 350 for 9-11 minutes.
Let them cool and then transfer to a wire rack or your counter. Pour a glass of milk and enjoy!
I found this Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe on the Namaste website. You can go HERE to print the recipe from the Namaste website or you can print it below.
